Happy Memorial Day everyone!
I hope everyone had a great time - whether they were at the beach, having a barbecue or just enjoying the time off.
It was a pretty long weekend for me - starting at about 6:30 pm Thursday evening, when Andrew and I started the 7 hour car ride to my parents' house in VA. After getting in around 3:00 am, we had to get up to get back on the road after some bad news. 7 more hours of driving around in VA and we were finally able to go back to my parents' house and actually stay for the rest of the weekend.
It was a quiet weekend, with some family friends visiting on Sunday and then a very quiet rest of the weekend - much needed rest, but unfortunately, still not enough.
With all the changes, Memorial Day 2009 will mark on of the longest weeks of my life. I can only hope that something good will come out of all of this. Wish me luck!
